Jarrod is one of our 1st Year students from Cranston, Rhode Island, he is 20 years old.   
Growing up in a Christian home, he knows that there is a call on his life that goes far beyond 
anything he could ever expect from himself.  Jarrod was a music major for two years.  
At the time he was studying to teach music, but knew that there was more to music than 
just instruments and words.  Something was missing.  He realized he wanted music to be more 
than just a song to him, he wanted it to be a tool that would change him and ultimately 
other people through him.  
Not knowing the direction God wanted him to go he took a step of faith and applied to 
Master's Commission USA.  With his family not being able to support him financially 
Jarrod arrived with no money, believing in faith that God would provide.  
He is a hard worker and has worked every opportunity he's been given to help 
pay off his tuition and gain money to cover living expenses while in Masters.  
Since arriving in Phoenix, Jarrod said, "There have been big moments, but it has 
been the small lessons that have transformed my life since I have been here."  
Every single day Jarrod lives his life striving to become the man of God he knows 
God has called him to be.  By Jarrod allowing the way he worships to affect himself 
first, he is the ultimate example that, "Changed People Change People."  
He has made himself an invaluable member of our team by applying himself 
to seeing our music ministry continue to grow to new levels.  
He believes worship is more than songs, it is a lifestyle.
